Scholarships and Financial Aid

HCSMF offers a highly competitive merit and need based scholarship program. Many students who attend HCSMF receive some form of financial aid, and each summer several are selected for full tuition scholarships. 

Oyaron Scholarship ($1500-$3000)

  Named for the hill on which Hartwick sits--for students who

  demonstrate exceptional musical promise

New York State Music Camp Scholarship ($750-$1000 per session)

  Named after our founding camp-- for students who demonstrate

  exceptional financial need and musical promise

HCSMF Ambassador Student Scholarship ($500-$3000)

  To assist international students in attending the festival; students 

  are selected on the basis of musical promise and financial need.

HCSMF Alum Scholarship ($500-$1000 per session)

   For returning students of HCMSF; awarded based on faculty and

   counselor recommendations from the previous year's camp

HCSMF Regional Opportunity Scholarship ($300-$1250 per session)

  For students in the upstate region who might otherwise be

  prevented from attending; targets strong regional music programs

  and their students
